According to NFL.com, Albert Breer of the NFL Network reported that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has a “very good chance” to play this week against the Falcons.
Back and forearm surgeries made it difficult for Gronkowski to do weight training, but he’s made significant strides in the past four weeks.
When it comes to Danny Amendola, Breer says that his groin muscle has been torn off the bone, which means he can’t injure himself any further. It’s all about how much pain he can tolerate.
The hope is that Amendola will be ready to return to game action within the next week or two.
