According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily news, the Cincinnati Bengals will be trading linebacker Keith Rivers to the New York Giants in exchange for a fifth round pick.
Vacchiano also mentioned that a contract extension isn’t a part of the deal, since Rivers’ contract is set o expire after this coming season. I’m sure the Giants want to see if Rivers can stay healthy before they possibly discuss any kind extension.
With the acquisition of Rivers, it likely means Jonathan Goff is done with the Giants. They’ll likely let him walk in free agency.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
