Report: Giants offered Victor Cruz $7 million per year

According to Gary Myers of the New York Daily News (via NFL.com), the Giants have offered Victor Cruz a contract that exceeds $7 million per year.  The offer also includes a “sizable amount” of guaranteed money.

The offer is also believed to be a three to four year deal that would give him a chance to land another big contract before he retires, per Myers.

The Giants offer may not seem fair to Cruz, but it’s more than what both Wes Welker and Danny Amendola got from the Broncos and Patriots respectively.
