According to NJ.com, Packers tight end Andrew Quarless is expected to be at the top of the New York Giants free agent list for tight ends when the new league year begins on Martch 11th.
Packers tight end Andrew Quarless is expected to be near the top of that list, according to multiple league insiders. The Giants are expected to show interest when teams begin negotiating with free agents this weekend.
Quarless, 25, spent the first four years of his career in Green Bay, where new Giants offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo worked first with the tight ends and then quarterbacks. Quarless spent his first two professional seasons with McAdoo as his position coach.
It makes too much sense for the Giants to bring in a Packers tight end with McAdoo now on staff.
