News broke earlier in the week that Redskins tight end Fred Davis will likely be suspended for six games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
According to ProFootballTalk.com, Davis’ suspension could end up being more or less than six games.
A league source tells PFT that the report is “technically inaccurate.”
We don’t know why or how it’s technically inaccurate. Davis could be facing a shorter suspension, a longer suspension, or no suspension at all. (The latter option is highly unlikely at this point.)
