Report: Ed Reed turned down a contract offer from the Ravens

According to Jason La Canfora of CBSSPorts.com,  safety Ed Reed turned down a new contract offer from the Baltimore Ravens that would’ve paid him just under $8 million a year.  The only problem with the offer is that it’s less than what Eric Weddle of the Chargers and Michael Huff of the Raiders currently make.  As we all know, Reed is a better then both of those players.

The Ravens concern with Reed is that he’s getting older and he’s already had neck and hip problems that could ultimately shorten the rest of his career.
