According to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, the Philadelphia Eagles will likely draft a quarterback early in this year’s draft. If they can’t get Ryan Tannehill they might go after either Brandon Weeden or Kirk Cousins in the second round.
This is clearly a sign the Eagles aren’t confident in Michael Vick’s durability and let’s face it, he’s going to be 32 years-old this season and he’s only going to keep take brutal shots outside the pocket.
If the Eagles get a quarterback in the second round, they could sit him for a couple of years, then move on from Vick.
