According to NJ.com, the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to pursue 49ers’ safety Dashon Goldson once he hits the free agent market on March 12th.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise. The Eagles have been struggling to replace a great player like Brian Dawkins for the past three years.
The Eagles have plenty of cap room ($32 million), so that’s not an issue. They need to give Goldson the $8 million per year that he’s reportedly looking for and move on.
