According to Mike Garafolo of USA Today Sports, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles talked behind the scenes about a possible trade involving quarterback Nick Foles.
It continues to sound like the Eagles still aren’t interested in dumping Foles just yet.
The person, who spoke to USA TODAY Sports on condition of anonymity because the conversations weren’t to be discussed publicly, said the Eagles conveyed to the Chiefs what they’ve been saying through the media – they like Foles and plan on giving him a chance to compete with Michael Vick for the starting job
As of right now it doesn’t look like Foles is going anywhere. The Eagles have made it clear that he’s not available and even Chiefs head coach Andy Reid acknowledged that he’s staying put in Philly.
