According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, the Miami Dolphins have signed safety Reshad Jones to a four-year extension.
Per a league source, the Dolphins have signed Jones to a four-year extension. He’s under contract through 2017.
A fifth-round pick out of Georgia in the 2010 draft, Jones was due to make $1.323 million in 2013.
Now that the Dolphins gave Jones an extension, he’ll have the chance to prove that he’s one of the NFL’s top safeties.
Update: Jones will be paid $30 million over four years.
