According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is pushing hard to draft Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
It’s believed that Ross wants to try to move on from a very embarrassing offseason in which they failed to sign Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn.
The Dolphins have also taken a big hit by losing 30,000 season ticket holders. With fans starting to lose faith in their team, as they go into the 2012 season without a legitimate quarterback under center, Tannehill might be the only player that can help get the Dolphins back on track.
If the Dolphins do draft Tannehill, it would be a nice fit, since his former college coach Mike Sherman is now their offensive coordinator.
