Earlier tonight we mentioned a report from Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com that indicated Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is pushing for general manager Jeff Ireland to draft Texas A&M quarterback.
Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald is now reporting that “a very, very, very highly placed source within the Dolphins organization” emailed him and stated that Florio’s report is in fact untrue.
With two conflicting reports, all we can do is believe whoever we want at this point.
At the end of the day I think Ross would like to draft Tannehill, but I believe he also knows that acquiring him doesn’t mean his team will sell more tickets or start winning more games in 2012. It could end up making things worse if Tannehill ends up being a bust.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
