According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Miami Dolphins are expected to heavily pursue Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings once he becomes a free agent on March 12th.
The Dolphins, with about $38 million in space, are prepared to spend, and league sources expect them to pursue Jennings heavily. The Green Bay wide receiver played for head coach Joe Philbin in Green Bay. Miami could be in the market for Finley as well, whether via trade or signing should he become available as expected.
Jennings would be a good fit in Miami. He worked with head coach Joe Philbin when he was the Packers’ offensive coordinator and the Dolphins desperately need to get quarterback Ryan Tannehill a number one target.
The good news for the Dolphins is that Jennings has given off the impression he’s interested in playing in South Beach.
