We mentioned last night that there’s some concern over the integrity of the bone in Rob Gronkowski’s forearm.
Earlier in the week everyone expected Gronk to be cleared in time for this week’s game.
According to ProFootballTalk.com, there is currently less optimism that Gronkowski will be cleared for Sunday’s matchup with the Saints.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, still has not been cleared. While clearance could come today or tomorrow, we’re told there is now less optimism regarding the situation.
The play-or-no-play decision will come from Dr. James Andrews, who will rely on scans of the twice-broken forearm in assessing the situation.
