According to Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net, the Dallas Cowboys are currently targeting former Memphis defensive lineman Dontari Poe with the 14th pick in the first round of this year’s draft.
Pauline says that “as of today Memphis defensive tackle Dontari Poe is the apple of their eyes.”
Poe, who is 6’3″ tall and weighs a whopping 346 pounds, ran the 40 yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine in the 4.98 seconds, which is amazing for his size.
WIth Poe’s athleticism, the Cowboys could use him as a nose tackle and defensive end in their 3-4 scheme.
