According to Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com, the Dallas Cowboys remain open to trading veteran cornerback Mike Jenkins, even though there were some reports that people within the organization would rather keep him.
The problem right now is that there aren’t any teams interested in acquiring Jenkins. There’s some concern about his participation in the Cowboys offseason program. Even though the workouts are voluntary, the thought is that since he’s coming off of offseason shoulder surgery, it would be great if the medical staff could see him on a regular basis.
As we get closer to training camp, if a key player at corner on another team goes down, it could entice a team to try to make a move for him.
