According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, the Dallas Cowboys are looking to trade veteran cornerback Mike Jenkins.
Jenkins is going into the final year of his current contract and the Cowboys no longer have a need for him now that they drafted former LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne and they acquired Brandon Carr in free agency just over a month ago.
Jenkins is good player, but has run into some injury problems at times and has been inconsistent as well.
With the Eagles only getting a 7th round pick for Asante Samuel, I don’t know what the Cowboys can get in return for Jenkins. Maybe a 4th round pick.
