Report: Cowboys quietly looking for an offensive coordinator

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen already reported that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is pushing head coach Jason Garrett to give up play-calling duties and bring an offensive coordinator.

According to Mike Florio of, the Cowboys are quietly looking for an offensive coordinator.

I’m not sure who’s available for the Cowboys to hire.  The best candidate was Norv Turner, but he’s not in Cleveland.

Jones should be looking for someone to replace himself. I have never seen anyone completely ruin a franchise quick as he has.

  2. RFD Dallas says

No coach worth his salt will work for Jerry Jones. Until Jones gives up his GM position to someone qualified (his lackey son’s aren’t qualified) and resigns himself to the owners box. The organization will continue to lose season ticket holders, endorsements and most important ….fans.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard the comment Jerry Jones should replace himself I would be as rich as he is. Just sayin’

For the Cowboys to ever have a chance at success…Jerry Jones is going to have remove himself from the Football process! It makes me sick every time I see his ‘mug’ on TV….and the Sports Media is to blame for going out of the way they show him 20 times a game!!!!

Welcome to Jerry’s circus , Garrett. Remember what you did to Wade Phillips when you were offensives coordinator? How you let him dangle and get mangled by the sports media for losing, while you sat back and bided your time?
Now it your turn, Garrett. Congratulations, you’ve’ arrived, son. You wanted to be the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys, so now you get to be set up by your boss, Jerry” Jed Clamplett” Jones. We already know you are a joke of a head coach anyway. But, that’s who Jerry wants to be his head coach. A limp, complaint, butt puppet like you, Garrett
