According to Rotoworld.com, ESPN’s Ed Werder reported that the Dallas Cowboys don’t anticipate Alabama safety Mark Barron being available when they’re on the clock with the 14th overall pick.
“The sense I get among the Cowboys right now, is that they understand that Mark Barron is unlikely to be available to them,” Werder said. “… They seem somewhat content with that.”
Werder indicated the Cowboys are ”scarred” from when they drafted Roy Williams. They’re likely leaning towards drafting a “playmaker on defense,” such as a cornerback or a front-seven player.
