According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the odds are right now that the Indianapolis Colts will be moving on from quarterback Peyton Manning.
Schefter said that the odds of Manning staying with the Colts are “very slim. Every single sign points to Peyton Manning leaving Indianapolis.”
Schefter also indicated that the odds of the Colts cutting Manning are “very high. Most people around the league now expect that. It’s a near-certainty.”
It was only a matter of time before we got the news that Manning is almost certainly done as a member of the Colts. The question now is, is he healthy enough to resume his career with another team? We’ll have to wait and see.

You can’t really blame the Colts. Yes, Manning is one of the best QBs out there, but without certainty that he will be healthy they would be screwing themselves. They have the chance to bring in someone young and he has the chance to get healthy and decide what is next in his career.
Been really digging this site since I found it a few days ago. You’re like the Perez Hilton of the sports world. I love it. Much much better than Terez Owens…
thank you, we appreciate the support
You would think that the colts would try and restructure his contract and trade him, obviously with his approval….if that would be possible.
they spent $26MM on him last year why not get a ROI….i’m just sayin’
Be interesting to see if he is healthy enough to play, where he goes and his attitude towards the Colts after he’s gone. If he retires, it’s a shame, but, I’d also see him paralyzed! Wish him the best!
He is a class act, hope he is gonna be ok health wise. would like to see him in new york with the jets so maybe they could have a manning game with the giants. where ever he goes i wish him the best.D
Jerry Jones wants to talk to you Peyton…
Great athlete, pouty attitude. Irsay should be displeased with Peyton’s public comments. However, with the Colts making so many huge changes now, it might be better to try to keep Peyton on for at least one more year with a restructured contract. Too much time and money invested on a franchise QB to be shown the door so swiftly.
Then again, maybe Peyton is ready to move on … to the Sacramento Mountain Lions.
Has Archie weighed in yet?
They will not trade him. what you have to remember about the colts is that payton ran the offence and called all the plays. they will need him to teach luck to run the offence like he did. remember they were 1-16 without him because it did everything.
