According to Bob Kravitz of the Indy Star, contract talks between the Colts and defensive end Robert Mathis are currently warming up.
The Colts have already made it clear that they want to re-sign Mathis and seem to be serious about keeping him in Indianapolis.
The Colts are making the switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense for the 2012 season and must feel like the 31 year-old Mathis will be able to make the change, or else they wouldn’t bother attempting to re-sign him.
