Report: Colts looking to trade for a veteran cornerback
Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted that they’re looking to make a big trade and give up a high pick for a veteran starter. He also said he’s ready to support general manager Ryan Grigson and sign off on a big deal.
Phil Richards from the Indy Star reported that the Colts are looking at trading for a veteran cornerback.
With the NFL being a pass heavy league, a good cornerback would likely force a team to give up a lot in a trade. The Colts certainly need to make an upgrade at corner, so anything is possible right now.
