Report: Colts, Bradshaw deal not expected to go down on Thursday night

According to Kimberly Jones of the NFL Network via, a deal between the Colts and free agent running back Ahmad Bradshaw is expected to get done, but it probably won’t happen tonight.

Bradshaw is still a very effective player when he’s healthy.  He’s one of the best running backs in the NFL when it comes to pass protection.  I’m sure Andrew Luck wouldn’t mind having him help out with blitz pick-ups.

If Bradshaws lands with the Colts, they would be smart to split the carries with Vick Ballard, 50-50.  He can’t carry the entire load any longer, since his body has had a hard time holding up over the past few years.

Bradshaw was a great player for my Giants! Good Luck in Indy! The Colts need a backup plan Bradshaw split carries the last 3-4 seasons in NY and still was always banged up.
