According to Adam Schein of FOXSports.com, the Arizona Cardinals would like to sign free agent quarterback Peyton Manning. They’re also ready to remove current starter Kevin Kolb from the roster by not paying the $7 million option bonus that he’s due on March 17th. The Cardinals would then go with John Skelton as Manning’s back up going forward.
Manning is also very interested in playing for the Cardinals, so he could have the opportunity to play with Larry Fitzgerald and bring Reggie Wayne along with him from Indianapolis. The Cardinals are very serious about signing Wayne along with Manning.
In the end, both Manning and the Cardinals have a mutual interest in one another.

Yada, yada…he “will be taking my talents to Miami” while using the Cardinals to up the ante, that’s all. In Miami he will have his blind side secure, and in Phoenix…well, let’s just say the don’t even have an OL yet let alone a quality left tackle.
