Report: Bucs would have no problem signing Revis to an extension if a trade went down

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wouldn’t have a problem signing Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis to an extension if they end up working out a trade.

Sources told the News that Revis would  come to the parameters of a long-term deal with the Buccaneers without much trouble if the teams come to an agreement on the draft choice compensation element of the trade.

The hang up between both sides is still the fact that the Bucs don’t want to part with this year’s first round pick.
