John McClain of the Houston Chronicle has tweeted that former Cowboys linebacker Bradie James has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Houston Texans. The move reunites James with former Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips, who now serves as defensive coordinator for the Texans.
In nine seasons with the Cowboys, Bradie James recorded an astonishing 744 tackles, leading the team in total tackles for six straight years, from 2005 to 2010. He was also responsible for 15.5 sacks, 27 passes defended, 2 interceptions, and 10 forced fumbles. James will receive a base salary of $825,000 with the Texans.
