ESPN’s John Clayton told WGR 550 in Buffalo that the Bills are interested in Eagles quarterback Michael Vick.
“You now have a College Coach who knows the read option system, you can see that there can be a little excitement there, maybe that can be a draw for the fans. Buffalo was quite interested in (Vick) before he ended up going to Philadelphia. Everything I hear, according to sources, is that there is interest there. How much money are they willing to spend? He’s not going to get the One hundred million dollar contract that he got from Philadelphia.”
Clayton thought it was possible the Bills might be interested in drafting a young QB, possibly Ryan Nassib from Syracuse and then have a veteran QB groom their potential young passer. He did say that Vick is only one option for the team.
“I get the feel more than anything else that, I think there is legitimate interest in Michael Vick, but I don’t know if it’s going to consumate into any deal so, if they don’t go for Micahel Vick, than they could go for the Syracuse quarterback or one of the quarterbacks in the draft.”
When Vick was coming out of prison a few years ago, the Bills were rumored to be interested at the time and it looks like they still wouldn’t mind bringing him now.
