Report: Bills have no immediate plans to trade C.J. Spiller

cj spillerESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Thursday’s SportsCenter that the Buffalo Bills “have no immediate plans right now” to trade running back C.J. Spiller.

Schefter believes teams have approached Buffalo about Spiller’s availability, but the plan for now is to let Spiller finish his rookie contract with the Bills. Still, there’s been enough smoke here to make us think a Spiller trade is at least possible before October’s deadline, especially if the Bills suddenly feel the urge to get preseason star Bryce Brown more carries.
