Report: “Amazing” workout persuaded the Seahawks to not place Percy Harvin on IR

According to Ed Werder of ESPN,  a morning workout with quarterback Russell Wilson on Monday persuaded the Seahawks into not placing Percy Harvin on season-ending injured reserve.

Sources said Harvin, who has played in just one game this season following offseason hip surgery, looked “amazing” during the session and that the Seahawks believe it is possible he will play when the team opens the postseason at home Jan. 11.

The Seahawks plan on having Harvin practice on Thursday
