Reggie White almost played for the Giants alongside Lawrence Taylor

During the 1984 supplemental draft,  the New York Giants selected offensive lineman Gary Zimmerman and then the Eagles took Reggie White with the next pick.

Former Giants head coach Bill Parcells admits he really liked White.

“Gary Zimmerman was there,” said Parcells, per Giants.com. “I know I had a particular interest in Reggie White, too. I tried to put my two cents in, but we wound up taking Zimmerman.”

Of course the Giants went on with win two Super Bowls with Taylor,  while the Eagles never won a title with White.
