Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall referred to the Lions as their little brother after Sunday’s loss to Detroit at Solider Field.
“They’re the little brother who grew a little bit, may be a little taller than the bigger brother. He’s not stronger,” Marshall said Monday on WMVP-AM, per the Chicago Tribune. “He’s not better than the big brother at anything. But it’s just that one day, he says, ‘I’m fed up. I’m done. I’m going to punch my brother in the face.'”
Lions running back Reggie Bush responded to Marshall’s comment today.
“You know what’s funny, I have a little brother,” Bush said, via DetroitLions.com. “I was the older brother and kind of pushed him around a little bit.
“Now he’s 6-7. There’s no pushing him around anymore,” Bush added. “He can hang with me. At some point in time the little brother always grows up and ends up being the bigger brother.”
Right now it looks like the little brother (the Lions) are the front runner to win the NFC North.
