According to Mike Jones of the Washington Post, Redskins defensive end Stephen Bowen underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in April and will be out for action for the next few weeks.
Knee scopes are minor surgical procedures that no one should typically worry about. Unless of course you notice a pattern in which a player must have their knee scoped on a regular basis. Then they’re likely fighting some sort of chronic knee problem.
