The Washington Redskins have officially announced they’ve signed free agent safety Tanard Jackson, who was just released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for failing a team physical.
Jackson is a talented young player, but he’s somehow gotten worse over the past few seasons instead of better.
Jackson has made 147 tackles, 20 assists and has missed 54 tackles in 40 games, per ProFootballFocus.com. To simply put it, those numbers are very bad.
The good news for Jackson is that he’ll reunite with former coach Raheem Morris.
