Redskins sign Robert Griffin III, no offset language
Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III announced on Twitter that he’s finally signed his rookie contract. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was the first to confirm that the second overall pick is now officially under contract. He can now report to Redskins’ training camp where the rest of the rookies currently are.

At the end of the day, the Redskins ended up giving in and not including offset language in Griffin’s contract. So if he’s released before his contract is up, the Redskins will still be forced to pay him any additional money they owe him, even if another team signs him.
The good news for the remaining top-seven picks, is that they should sign rather quickly from here on out.
