According to John Keim of the Washington Examiner, there’s still a chance the Redskins could end up signing veteran cornerback Quentin Jammer.
Though it would seem unlikely that Quentin Jammer would sign with the Redskins now that they selected another corner, he’s not completely off the radar. If the Redskins remain interested – still an if – any dialogue would start anew this week. Waiting until after the draft and undrafted free agent signings allows Jammer to pick the best spot. But the Redskins viewed him more as a corner.
I think the Redskins want to see what the corners on their roster can do right now. If they’re going to sign a veteran like Jammer, it likely won’t happen until training camp.
