Redskins, Raiders talking trade

According to Vic Tafur of SFGate.com, during an interview on ESPN 980 in Washington D.C., Redskins general manager Bruce Allen slipped up and mentioned that he was on the phone with the Oakland Raiders discussing a trade.

Tafur mentioned Redskins tight end Chris Cooley as someone who could be on the move.

It would make sense for the Skins to deal Cooley after the knee problems he’s had.  The Redskins also have Fred Davis as their starting tight end and really don’t need Cooley any longer.
