Redskins GM: “We’ll be active in free agency”

Washington Redskins general manager Bruce Allen told SiriusXM NFL Radio today that they’ll be active in free agency this offseason.

“We’ll have some room,” Allen said via the Washington Post. “We’re gonna have some room to do some things. But we have some players who are free agents, and we’re going to talk to them first, to try to retain them. But we have the ability to maneuver around, and we’ll be active in free agency.”

Every Redskins fan should cringe when they hear about being active in free agency.  Does Albert Hanynesworth ring a bell?

It will be interesting to see how much influence owner Dan Snyder has on Allen.
