Ravens running back Ray Rice will be arraigned at the Atlantic County Superior Court on Thursday in connection to his felony aggravated assault case.
The arraignment, which is set for 8:45 a.m., was originally scheduled for April 28 and was pushed back due to Judge Michael Donio’s court docket, according to a criminal division clerk.
Back in February, Rice his wife Janay Palmer, who at the time was his fiancé. They ended up getting married a month later.
Rice and Palmer were both originally facing simple assault-domestic violence charges. After Atlantic City police referred the case to prosecutors for review, the charges were upgraded to the more serious charge of third-degree aggravated assault when Rice was indicted by a grand jury.
Palmer, who was arrested along with Rice the night of the incident, had her case administratively dismissed.
