Ray Lewis isn’t saying something that nobody else is thinking, when he said he doesn’t believe that the Ravens could win the Superbowl two years in a row according to USA TODAY
Lewis cites the mass exodus of defense this offseason as one of the reasons the repeat probably won’t happen.
“It’s going to be very hard, after you lose that much chemistry,” Lewis told USA TODAY Sports. “But who knows? It’s unpredictable, as always. Hopefully, they try to pull enough together, use their youth and try to make a run. But it’s hard to try that formula. That formula usually doesn’t work.”
Like I previously mentioned, Lewis isn’t saying anything that hasn’t already been said by most media outlets. While some might interpret his words negatively it really seems he meant no harm. He’s just being realistic in his predictions and that is something that Ravens fans won’t want to hear.
