Ray Lewis could return this season
During this mornings press conference, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced that Ray Lewis was played on injured reserve.
The interesting thing is that Lewis wasn’t placed on season ending IR. Instead he was placed on injured reserve/designated to return.
This means that Lewis can return to the Ravens’ active roster in eight weeks if he’s healthy enough. He can also start practicing again in six weeks, if he’s ready.
The Ravens are clearly holding out hope that their future Hall of Fame linebacker will be able to come back this season.
