According to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens have made left guard Ben Grubbs a substantial offer to remain in Baltimore, in order to keep him from hitting open market as a free agent.
If Grubbs ends up testing the open market, there will likely be a team that’s willing to outbid the Ravens and possibly snatch him up. Unfortunately the Ravens don’t have a lot o room to sweeten their current offer.
With the Ravens having about $14 million cap room, they can’t throw everything they have at Grubbs, since there are other players they need to re-sign. There’s a good chance Grubbs might be done in Baltimore.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
