Now that there’s a chance Michael Crabtree could miss the entire 2013 season, 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is ready to rely on his younger players, rather than re-sign Randy Moss.
“We’re excited for the young receivers that we have,” Harbaugh said when asked about a Moss reunion, per NFL.com. “Really feel that somebody’s going to emerge there because they have to. And competition will create that. And we’ll look forward to watching that.”
Harbaugh is doing the right thing. The 49ers are better off relying on younger players than Moss, who’s clearly washed up.
