According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Randy Moss ran smooth routes and caught plenty of passes during Thursday’s “football school.”
The new CBA prohibits teams from practicing offense against defense, so Moss wasn’t going against anyone defending him. But many of his teammates thought he looked as explosive as ever. Safety Donte Whitner doesn’t think Moss has lost a step.
“A lot of times we’re running with chains on our backs, we’re running 60-yard sprints,” Whitner said. “So you can see that he can really run. A lot of times he’s leading in the sprints. So if I had to say anything, I don’t think he lost a step at all.”
