According to Rotoworld.com, Charley Casserly of the NFL Network believes the Rams might be willing to trade up in the first round for West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin.
“It seems the Rams aren’t content to sit there (at No. 16),” Casserly said. “People they’ve talked to in trades think the guy they want is Tavon Austin.” As Austin has been linked to clubs as high as No. 4 overall, it’s become clear he won’t make it to the 16th pick. With two first-rounders and four selections in the top 78, the Rams have ammo to move up for Austin if they so choose.
