The St. Louis Rams have signed former Tennessee Titans defensive end William Hayes to a one year deal.
The addition of Hayes helps the Rams shore up their defensive line with the departure of James Hall.
A four-year veteran, Hayes had his best season in 2009 when he started 11 games and had 50 total tackles with 4 sacks. Hayes is primarily thought of as a run stuffer and could potentially help a Rams ball club that gave up 152 rushing yards per game last season, second worst in the league.
