Mark Burdy of the Contra Costa Times believes that the city of Oakland might be trouble of losing the Raiders now that it’s clear the Minnesota Vikings aren’t heading to Los Angeles, since they’re getting a new stadium.
Raiders owner Mark Davis hasn’t committed to keeping his team in Oakland, he’s only stated that he;d prefer to keep them there.
“I want it to work here,” Davis said. “I’d like to stay here. But we have to find a way to (generate more revenue) …. We need to sell more season tickets. We’re in a deficit-spending situation, and we need to start getting our revenue up.”
Raiders fans should be concerned about their team heading south. But other teams that could potentially be headed to LA, are the St. Louis Rams and the San Diego Chargers. So nothing is certain at this point.Follow PFZ on Twitter @ProFootballZone
