According to Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times, the Oakland Raiders will likely not place the franchise tag on running back Michael Bush, since it would allocate about $7.7 million for next season to a guy that’s not even a starter.
Corkran also doesn’t believe Bush will want to sign a long term deal because he wants to go to a team where he has a chance at being a starter and that’s obviously not going to happen with the Raiders as long as Darren McFadden is around.
Right now it looks as if Bush won’t be playing in Oakland in 2012 and the Raiders will need to move on with Darren McFadden and Taiwan Jones.

No point keeping Bush & not able to sign key LB or CB, also if Bush is gone Jones has to step up behind Dmc, no excuses!!!
The biggest mistake the Raider could make would be letting Michael Bush go. That would be bigger than hiring Hugh Jackson, that was huge.LOL!
