Oakland Raiders defensive lineman Richard Seymour will be hosting a passing camp next Tuesday through Thursday for his Raider teammates down in Georgia. Seymour is set to run the defense and quarterback Jason Campbell will lead the offense.
Seymour has made it clear that he wants his team ready for when the NFL season begins.
“Men, I hope that everyone is well and staying in shape because we are going to outwork everyone we face this season,” Seymour wrote in an e-mail to the Raiders. “It starts right now in the offseason.”
There has been some chatter about a possible 11 on 11 passing scrimmage between the Raiders and the Atlanta Falcons since they are also practicing near by.
It looks like the most action that any NFL fan could wish for might be happening next week. Hopefully this doesn’t end up being the most football that is played this season.
