Raiders could be without Jacoby Ford for a while

Oakland Raider wide receiver Jacoby Ford’s sprained foot could mean that he’ll be out a while since he missed eight weeks last season after spraining the same foot.  Of course it will all depend on how severe his injury is.

“Raiders coach Dennis Allen said an MRI revealed a sprained left foot on the same foot that Ford injured last season. Ford suffered the injury at the end of a reception Friday night against the Arizona Cardinals,” wrote Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times.

Raiders head coach Dennis Allen indicated that he doesn’t know how long Ford will be out.

“It looks like Jacoby’s going to miss a little bit of time, don’t know exactly to what extent yet,” Allen said. “We’re still seeing where he’s at, but we did an MRI on his foot and we’ll see where he’s at.”
