Rueben Randle is not the only young player that’s been shining so far in training camp.
According to Giants.com, cornerback Prince Amukamara has been made numerous big plays.
Co-starring with Randle has been Prince Amukamara, the Giants’ former first-round pick entering his third season. The cornerback and wide receiver have been challenging each other all camp, and when one has made a big play in practice, the other has been right there to respond. The competitive streak of Amukamara has pleased Tom Coughlin, who said “he’s rising to the occasion.”
With Corey Webster falling off last season, the Giants need Amukamara to step up and prove to the rest of the league that he was worth it for the Giants to take him in the first round of the 2011 draft.
